Named after the year the first vineyard was planted in the region, 1769 is a 100% muscat de frontignon dessert wine that boasts the history of dessert wine in the Constantia Valley. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 11 months, imparting a gentle hint of vanilla and caramel. The palate bursts with a rich and complex blend of honey, apricot, and dried fruits, that lingers long in the finish. This wine is perfect to pair with desserts like apple tart, crème brûlée, or cheese.
