Deux Grives Marsanne Viognier, Languedoc-Roussillon, France 2022 (12.5% Vol) Regular price £11.49
A wine that expresses true harmony of varietals. Viognier lends punchy stone fruit aromas whilst the Marsanne adds refreshing acidity and liveliness. Truly mouth-watering and delicious. Great with Asian seafood dishes.

Fresh and attractive with a subtle floral lift to the green fruit. Some gooseberries and freshly cut herbs with a hint of star fruit and minerality. Honest, medium-bodied palate with fresh acidity and a fine, phenolic texture and structure.

This blend of the world-famous trio is loved for its balanced combination of fruit, spice, tannins and structure. The Grenache provides expressive berry flavours, with a juicy and smooth palate. Syrah brings a good structure to the blend, with voluptuous aromas of sweet spices. The Mourvèdre gives to the final wine its firm tannins and deep colour.

Intense red fruit bouquet with morello cherry at the forefront. On tasting, the wine bursts with redcurrant, warm sweet spice and liquorice. Supple, with fine tannins, generous fruit and good length. Lovely with rich, slow-cooked beef dishes.

Brilliant intense red with purple hues in colour. On the nose, elegant ripe plum fruits combine with spicy pepper and a hint of smoky oak. On the palate, layers of dark fruits and eucalyptus spice are balanced by soft tannins and an amazing smooth finish.
