This month we are visiting South America - with some fantastic wines from Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. We have chosen a wide range of grape varieties in order to showcase the diversity and complexity of wines which we stock from this continent. Vina Requingua Casa Santiago Sauvignon Blanc, Curico Valley, Chile 2021 (13% Vol)

Regular price £8.59. Strong citrus aromas on the nose, with passion fruit and hints of grass. On the palate - fresh fruit, crisp acidity and a pleasing finish.

Estival, Viñedo los Vientos, Uruguay 2020 (13.5% Vol)

Regular price £14.79. 60% Gewürztraminer, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Moscato Blanco. A pleasing note of lychee and white orchard fruits on the nose. Engaging underlying vein of acidity that gives length and drive. Lovely with baked salmon.

Los Haroldos Chacabuco Malbec Rosé, Argentina 2021 (12.5% Vol)

Regular price £10.70. Plums and black cherry fruits on the nose with soft tannins, ripe dark berry fruit and a satisfying crisp finish.

Casas del Bosque Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva, Chile 2019 (14% Vol)

Regular price £12.09. The nose offers aromas of black cherries, raspberries, mint and tobacco. This Cabernet Sauvignon is fresh and lively, with soft and persistent tannins. Fillet of beef with horseradish is a perfect companion to this wine.

Cima Blanca Malbec, Argentina 2021 (13.5% Vol)

Regular price £9.79. The nose shows fresh plums and blackberries, the palate is packed with black and red-berried fruit. A well-balanced wine, with a fresh finish. Very enjoyable with mature cheeses.

Vina Requingua Casa Santiago Merlot, Curico Valley, Chile 2021 (13% Vol)

Regular price £8.59. Aromas of berry fruits, cassis and a touch of dark chocolate. This medium bodied wine offers soft tannins with abundant freshness and ripeness of fruit. Great for barbeques.
