Bernard Robert Brut Reserve, Champagne (12% Vol) £34.00

This Brut Réserve comprises 60% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay and is aged for a minimum of 3 years. It is crisp, stylish, classic and develops richness with bottle age.

Pouilly-Fuissé Terroir, Jean-Pierre Sève, Burgundy 2020 (13% Vol) £22.65

On the nose - fresh acidity, ripe citrus flavours and white flowers. On the palate it is juicy and round with subtle oak hints on the finish. Lovely with smoked mackerel. 2020 was a great year for white Burgundy.

Donnhoff Riesling, Nahe 2020/21 (10.5% Vol) £22.45

Fresh and flinty on the nose that shows white peach and apricot aromas. Riesling with juicy fruit and the mineral expression of the Nahe. Pairs nicely with langoustines or lobster.

Lenotti Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, Veneto 2017 (15.5% Vol) £39.95

On the nose raspberries, white pepper and violets. On the palate supple, with soft berry fruit and rich delicate acidity. Good with ox-tail stew.

Cairanne Col du Debat, Les Hautes Cances, Rhone 2015 (14.5% Vol) £24.25

Fine and elegant nose with redcurrant, cherry, spices and leather. The palate shows spices and red fruits, with a hint of fine oak. The tannins are well structured which lead onto a long finish. Pairs very well with roasted pheasant. Star of the show at our recent Rhone tasting.

Jordan Cobblers Hill , Stellenbosch 2015/20 (14% Vol) £37.49

73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc all combine to make an intricate and luscious red wine. The palate is richly layered with a variety of opulent flavours which include pepper and blackcurrants. Great with roast beef.
